BIG LITTLE!!!

Y'ALL! The best week of the year!!! BIG LITTLE WEEK! Talk about super epic! Throughout the week the bigs made goodie bags with treats and cutsie little gifts for their sweet littles to pick up! Bigs also made silly little Instagram accounts to post clues and hints to help their little guess who they are! Along with this bigs were working all week on painting their reveal banner and prepping their basket for their little! SO much work goes into this week, but as a new big, there is seriously nothing more rewarding than getting your precious little!!! The role of a big is to guide, positively influence, and connect their little into the sorority. Being a new member in any sorority can be a overwhelming experience; there are so many rules and rituals to learn and be acquainted with. Connecting your little into the sorority is also a huge factor; it is a responsibility to introduce your little to other sister, encourage activity attendance, and encourage overall involvement of your little within the sorority! My big played a huge role in helping me adjust to being in a sorority and helped me make Gamma Phi Beta my home away from home! Such a sweet week ending in the sweetest reveal! Special shoutout to our SPECTACULAR New Member Educator, Mary Smalley, and her assistants, Kristen Likness and Alena Araujo for working so hard on matching bigs and littles! Y'all did a beautiful job and because of your hard work, so many families have precious new members:)))
