Sisterhood Retreat!

Over the weekend of September 9th, we had the awesome opportunity to bond as a sisterhood and to bond with our precious New Members! Our sister, Kassidy, was so kind to let us use her gorgeous lake house out on Lake LBJ for the retreat! We arrived at the lake house that morning, eager to get the weekend started with our sisters! We started off by breaking off into actives & new members to have chats with our groups, this helped encourage communication and to build further trust and rapport between the actives and also between the new members. After our group chats, we ate some lunch, and then we all hopped in our swimsuits and jumped in Lake LBJ! We spent the afternoon swimming, laying out on the deck catching those rays, and jumping from the high deck into the water! I, personally, had so much fun getting to spend time with all my sisters. It is definitely something we do not take for granted, to have the opportunity to interact and create memories off campus/away from the house! This retreat was also the perfect opportunity to meet and create bonds with our new members! After a fun afternoon of swimming, we played a silly game of "sister tag". We all put on white tee-shirts and covered our hands with colorful paint; then our Education Vice President read out different prompts such as "tag a sister who makes you laugh" "tag a sister who is always there for you" etc... This was such a sweet activity! After we played tag, we ate dinner and watched a movie with a ice cream bar! It was the perfect evening to the perfect day! BIG shoutout to Taylor Gidley for planning this event and to Kassidy for allowing us to stay at her lake house!!! This event would not have been possible without you guys <3
